Reborn kept a slight sheen of anime textures, but overall attempted to go for a more realistic look in the environments and mechs. A return to the more stylized graphics of 3 Some may prefer Reborn because it has a greater number of mechs (most of the new ones are from SEED/SEED Destiny only) and it went back to the franchise tradition of larger stages to explore. 3 was my favorite in the series I think because levels could largely be finished quickly, the anime-style aesthetic looked great, and it included many positive changes over 2. I used to launch DW3 after finishing up classes and studying in uni just to unwind, and I just need more. Tons of voiced characters, tons of unique movesets for the mechs, huge combo strings, different stages of super attacks (and different ones if you're flying, too!). I've put hundreds of hours into the Dynasty Warriors Gundam series, and it's my favorite DW in general. Why was it retitled/reborn only to die with the PS3/Vita? The last one was Shin Gundam Musou/Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn.
We've gone a whole gen cycle without a new Dynasty Warriors Gundam.
